Monster Bookshop was founded in 2008 by our current owner and Managing Director, Laurence Reynolds. Our core principle has always been to offer the widest selection of books at the most affordable prices. What started as a bedroom enterprise during the midst of a recession soon took over the family home to take on our first warehouse in 2009. Since then, we have now grown to become one of the UK’s leading ecommerce book retailers, stocking over 6 million pre loved and new books. We operate our business in the most sustainable manner by packaging all products with recycled material that can be recycled time and again.

When will my order arrive?

All orders are processed and despatched within 1 business day. We offer FREE UK delivery as standard service which takes approximately 3-5 business days to arrive. International parcels typically take between 5-8 business days to arrive. See here for more info on Shipping

Do you offer speedy delivery?

Yes we do! Delivery for UK orders costs £1.99 and is delivered in 1-2 business days.

What condition can I expect the item to be in?

We sell both pre loved and new items. You will see the item condition on the description page summary. All our pre loved items undergo a 3 stage quality control process by our dedicated warehouse team to ensure that the item is in good condition. All our new items are supplied directly by publishers and will be in pristine condition.

What happens if I receive a damaged item?

No sweat, our excellent customer care team are on hand 5 days a week to resolve any issue and will be happy to organize a replacement for you (where available).

Can I change the delivery address after purchase?

Yes simply shoot us a message on the contact us page and we will endeavour to change the delivery address if it has not been sent out yet.

Can I recycle books with you?

Yes we have a recycling scheme and offer a drop box outside our warehouse in Leicestershire. Just send us a message on our contact us page and we will get back to you.

Do you sell eBooks?
