Michael Meegan was born in Liverpool and grew up in Dublin. He speaks nine languages and has degrees in philosophy, Community health ,epidemiology and medical anthropology. He has written extensively on poverty and suffering and has consulted throughout Asia and Africa. He talks on spirituality and on poverty and is sought after as an expert on AIDS in Africa. He is the founder of the charity ICROSS in USA,Canada, Ireland, UK ,Kenya and Tanzania. Michael lives in the Rift Valley of Kenya working in one of the largest terminal care programmes in East Africa. He is currently working on a series of inspirational works as well as a book for AIDS orphans.
