Sometimes in life everything happens at once. Like turning thirty ...and being dumped ...and finding a dead body in the garden ...Val O'Hara is trying to get away from it all: dead-end job, heartbreak calls by feckless boyfriend, an I-told-you-so mother. So she hides out in North County Clare. Even there her luck doesn't change. Not only is the house remote, freezing and unfriendly but she finds the body of a dead foreigner in her garden. At times like this a girl needs a solicitor, a mother and a Best Friend ...Or does she? Maybe you can have too much of a good thing. That is until she meets the handsome Dara. There is a lot to be said for having a shoulder to cry on but if it's as well built as Dara's - why waste it on crying! But things are destined to get more complicated than Val can imagine ...A bowl of cereal, anyone?
