Summary

This first volume of a 3 volume set aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to practical and technical aspects of electrical installation work in the workshop and on site. It provides a first year textbook for City and Guilds and SCOTVEC courses in electrical installation. It assumes no prior knowledge and this edition has been revised and updated to accommodate the 16th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. It also covers legislation relating to the safe use of electricity at work. It is particularly aimed at first year City and Guilds, SCOTVEC and first certificate in Electrical Installation. This book will also provide a reference work for practising electricians.
