Joining Letters 3 is the third workbook in this new series of three workbooks to help master joined-up handwriting skills. The uncluttered pages offer plenty of handwriting practice to learn a mature style of joined-up handwriting while gaining speed and automaticity. This workbook offers extensive joining practice using vocabulary and grammatical exercises to help the writer achieve a fluent joined-up handwriting style. Each workbook offers invaluable handwriting practice using a simple format to develop clear and legible handwriting and are based on ability rather than age, so can be used by primary school children, teenagers and adults. The structured exercises make these workbooks ideal for use in the home or in the classroom and are all dyspraxia and dyslexia friendly. The full series of Morrells workbooks follow the current National Curriculum for handwriting and are perfect for use as a standalone resource or as part of a whole school handwriting policy. They have been developed to create life-long fluent and legible writers using a no-nonsense back-to-basics approach. Each workbook contains guidance on the correct sitting position, pencil grip and letter direction and provide plenty of spaces to practise handwriting.
We are handwriting specialists with 15 years of experience working with EYFS to adults and teaching handwriting to over 1000 primary and secondary school children each week. We also offer training and workshops to trainee teachers and teaching staff in universities, primary and secondary schools. We are passionate about the correct way to teach handwriting in line with the National Curriculum and we want to ensure that all children are taught the correct starting position and direction of each letter in the alphabet before learning to join-up their writing using cursive handwriting.

Clear whole-school approach to neat, legible writing from early stages of writing. Sarah, English Coordinator, Wandsworth; We introduced the handwriting workbooks last year and they have been a great success. The children enjoy them and take pride in their work, looking forward to their weekly handwriting sessions. As a teacher, I find the workbooks provide an excellent resource for teaching handwriting. Working through the workbooks has enabled progression throughout the year groups. I definitely recommend these workbooks Jenny Merrison - Year 2 teacher - Christian Fellowship School (June 2020)
