The Heartbeat of Excellence brings to mind the phrase, 'Culture eats strategy for breakfast.' Curt's book is concerned with putting people first in change processes and workplace structures. This is a timely read with an unexpected Swiss twist. - Alois Zwinggi, Member of the Managing Board, World Economic Forum Success remains, in many areas, essentially a result of functioning human relationships, despite tremendous progress in technology. The foundations of such effective working relations are respect, tolerance and appreciation of diversity. Curt always highlighted the importance of such interpersonal relations during his personal life. - Stefan Palzer, Executive Vice Precident and Chief Technology Officer, Nestle S.A.
